Shibuya Brawlers is a no-nonsense martial arts, adventure, and urban fantasy manga series in a scroll-format, colored webcomic by Samurai Cory, which will arrive on both Tapas and GlobalComix.Recommended for ages 14 and up due to mild profanity, violence (minimal or no blood), and fanservice such as female characters wearing sports bras (either alone as a main attire or under their tops) and characters wearing compression shorts as underwear (no nipples or genitalia).

Twin brothers Kazuya and Ken Kurosawa, collectively known as the Kurosawa Brothers, are criminal masterminds and the leaders of the Wild Mondo crime syndicate with an army at their command who predicted that the world would end in the year 2032. After New Year’s Eve 2031, the brothers believed that there was an error preventing the apocalypse, so they decided to correct it by destroying the world themselves. The Neo-Interpol, known for dispatching teenage martial artists, was unable to stop the Wild Mondo themselves since the crime syndicate not only has a Japanese branch but also a North American branch, so they dispatched the three brave teenage Kyokushin karateka Daisuke Ninomiya and his two lifelong best friends, Hikari Kitayama and Keiji “Yohan” Matsumoto, who call themselves the Shibuya Brawlers, to stop the Kurosawa Brothers and shut down the Wild Mondo crime syndicate permanently. Due to their elemental powers, they are immune to the heat and cold while also possessing the ability to fly.

Daisuke Ninomiya — The 17-year-old Japanese-American main protagonist of the series who has electric powers. A brave, friendly, and precocious Kyokushin karate expert, adventurer, and leader of the Shibuya Brawlers. Both his parents encouraged him to go out on an adventure with his two best friends, Hikari and Yohan, and he owns the Technopreme clothing company and a private dojo in his condo.

Hikari Kitayama — The 14-year-old main female protagonist of the series who has electric powers. A tomboy who is a precocious, brave, and friendly girl, Hikari is one of Daisuke’s best friends and his most respected partner. She often idolizes Daisuke, as he trained her in Kyokushin karate and taught her to wear ultra-baggy clothes and oversized sneakers after she lost her parents in a car accident when she was young.

Keiji "Yohan" Matsumoto — The 18-year-old Japanese-Brazilian tritagonist of the series who has wind powers. The chubby and intelligent heir to his father’s Kyokushin karate dojo, Yohan is one of Daisuke’s best friends and his sparring partner. He and his family are known for having cross-shaped scars on their bodies, and he often demonstrates to his two best friends what a real chubby Kyokushin karateka can do.
